My approach
My mission is to help people achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being by
reconnecting them to the roots, to the original design. It is there we can find balance
that allows our inner intelligence to activate our own healing, in the areas where the
healing is needed. Driven by the wisdom of Eclectics to draw knowledge from a broad and
diverse range of traditions and cultures, I combine roots of folk wisdom with the
principles and philosophy of Ayurveda, ancient hermetic traditions and the science of
Western herbs in order to create a supportive holistic regimen that addresses not only
the issue itself - but person as a whole.
I firmly believe in the principle "As above so below; as within so without." Our individual
health is deeply connected and intertwined with the collective health of our surroundings:
we cannot be completely healthy in a sick, unhealthy environment; it is very important to
understand our role and place in it. The regimens I design for my clients address diet,
lifestyle, habits, and life perception within ourselves to initiate the desired change.
To quote a famous saying, "Know thyself and thou shall know all the mysteries of the gods
and of the universe." These words encapsulate my approach and ultimate goal for myself and
my clients: through the journey of self-discovery we can heal our body, transform our
thoughts, and find our true purpose in life. Plants are our greatest allies and assistants
on this journey, and that's why my biggest teacher is Nature. I compare each person to
nature, seeing them as the whole universe: with planets, seasons, elements, and energies
unique to each individual. Understanding our unique constitution is crucial to overall
well-being, and plants can teach us how to balance it - just as they do in nature.
In my work with others and through my own journey of self-discovery, my fascination,
admiration, and appreciation for plants have grown tremendously. I deeply care about
sustainable plant growth and wild harvesting, supporting local herbal growers and respectful
use of essential oils; practicing composting, recycling, and promoting biodiversity.
I often get asked, "What herb can I take for this symptom?" But that’s not how herbal
medicine works: you don’t take an herb for a symptom, like you would a pharmaceutical.
While it can support the body in alleviating acute symptoms, lasting change and relief
from chronic health issues come from being in a committed and consistent relationship
with the plants that heal us over time. They have much to teach us about restoration,
and we would do well to incorporate them within an integrative model.
Plants can assist us in healing and rejuvenating the body, clarifying the mind, opening
the heart, and supporting the development of the soul. To achieve this, we need to
understand and work with the chemical, energetic, and spiritual properties of the plants
and connect them to our unique constitution.
In my medical cabinet, you'll find formulas that not only assist in healing but also act as
preventive medicine to support the constitution before illness strikes.
